Glen started his singing career at the age of 13. In the early years, he studied both singing and piano and later on earned a certificate in voice coaching at the Victoria Music and Arts Collage London. He teaches singing and performance at VocalBooth Studios using the Trinity College London’s ROCK & POP syllabus. He is the front liner of Malta’s leading band “Versatile Brass” and His recent projects consist of directing singing pupils as a group under the name of Vocal Troupes and hosted children’s program names “Kaxxa Daqq” on Malta’s National Television (TVM).
Glen has gained a reputation as a singer due to his participation in various television shows, as well as featuring in several Maltese radio and television signature tunes and jingles. He has also performed at large-scale concerts and national events and he is popular with his energetic live entertainment in various local and foreign events such as wedding receptions and others. Glen had the opportunity to play main roles in various musicals held in the Maltese islands, including Jesus Christ Super Star, Godspell, and Abba Mania amongst others.
He was the main vocalist of Symphony for the Valletta 18′, Malta Capital of European Culture 2018. He is one of the founders of the ‘Animae Gospel Choir`, Malta’s leading vocal group, whose members are well-known local singers and musicians.
Glen was nominated for the Best Male Artist several times in the Malta Music Awards and won the awards for ‘Best Solo Artist’, ‘Best Male Singer’, and ‘Best Music Video’ for the single ‘One Life’. He was also awarded the Best Male Singer during ‘One Tribute Awards’ which was held at the Malta Conference Centre in 2011.
He has participated in numerous local and international festivals and managed to achieve good results including the Fidof Award which he won three times. Glen’s first participation at The Malta Song for Europe was in 2005 with the song `Appreciate` although he had to wait till 2011 to gain the chance to represent his country in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘One Life’. Glen also made it to the finals of Golden Stag Festival that were held in Braşov, Romania, and managed to attain the Jury Award with the song `All I Am`.
During his career, Glen has collaborated with various renowned Maltese and international composers and authors and had the opportunity to release singles that he promoted and performed in several countries including the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Croatia, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Sweden.
